All owners of colonies of bees are required to register annually from May 15 to June 29.
Any additional colonies acquired must be registered within ten days of acquisition. The Certificate of Registration to Keep Bees expires on June 30 the next calendar year and registration is free.
A copy of the Beekeeper Registration Form can be obtained by visiting the Provincial Apiarist, Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries website.
